Competitive teams give Lennard Army JROTC cadets opportunities to challenge themselves beyond the classroom. Through training, competition, teamwork, and leadership, cadets build confidence, friendships, discipline, and skills that carry into school and life.
Whether a cadet is looking for a physical challenge, precision and discipline, or the opportunity to represent Lennard High School at ceremonies and special events, there is a place to get involved.

COLOR GUARD
Strength, endurance, teamwork, and resilience. Raiders challenges cadets through demanding physical training and competitive events that require the entire team to work together.
Precision, discipline, confidence, and teamwork. Drill Team cadets develop attention to detail and military bearing while preparing for competitions, ceremonies, and performances.
Honor, professionalism, precision, and pride. Color Guard cadets represent Lennard High School and the Longhorn Battalion at athletic events, ceremonies, parades, and community activities.
MORE THAN COMPETITION
Longhorn Battalion teams give cadets opportunities to test themselves, build lasting friendships, represent their school, and discover what they are capable of achieving. Participation is voluntary, but the lessons in commitment, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance can last well beyond high school.
