About the event
On September 11, 2026, the Lennard JROTC Cadet Corps will conduct a 2.977-mile memorial walk—approximately 12 laps around the Lennard High School track—in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.
The walk will begin promptly at 8:46 a.m., marking the moment American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower. Cadets will carry American, military service, firefighter, and law-enforcement flags as they honor the victims, first responders, service members, and the spirit of unity that followed.
Lennard administrators, veterans, law-enforcement officers, and first responders are invited to join us as we remember, honor, and continue to serve.
